Every year, SANZAF Kimberley provides scholars from disadvantaged areas in need with the necessary stationary.
Food Security:
SANZAF has consistently dedicated itself to combating food insecurity through a variety of interconnected programs designed to improve and empower communities across South Africa. Among these endeavours is the commitment to addressing the essential requirement for nutrition and alleviating hunger among the most disadvantaged. SANZAF Kimberley provides weekly meals to those in need in the town and surrounding areas.
Zakah Advocacy:
As the largest Zakah collection and distribution organisation in the country, SANZAF holds the educating of the public on the third pillar of Islam as highest priority. Through the divine tool of Zakah, Islam aims to alleviate poverty, foster empathy, and create a more equitable society where economic well-being is shared among the community. SANZAF Kimberley achieves this through Jumuah campaigns and advocacy programmes held at the office
Winter:
SANZAF’s focus on winter specific projects are vital as they address the specific needs of vulnerable populations during harsh weather conditions, providing essential resources like warm clothing, heating, and shelter to protect individuals from the adverse effects of winter. These initiatives not only safeguard people's health and well-being but also demonstrate the organization's commitment to immediate and practical assistance in times of heightened vulnerability. In keeping with SANZAF Kimberley’s annual blanket drive provides warmth those most in need and affected by the severe cold.
