Dawah:
The act of conveying the message of Islam, is crucial in Islam as it aligns with the belief that spreading the knowledge of God's guidance is a fundamental responsibility for Muslims. Through Dawah, Muslims aim to share the principles of Islam, promote understanding, and invite others to embrace the faith, contributing to the broader Islamic mission of fostering spiritual growth and unity among humanity. SANZAF East London’s Revert Program facilitates the joining of Islam, sponsors the Islamic education of reverts and provides mentoring and moral support including coordinating Islamic classes in the respective areas. In addition, the office helps with the upskilling of muslimah’s to be productive within the communities such as Ghusl classes etc.
Skills Development:
Skills development is integral to empowering individuals by enhancing their employability and fostering economic independence. By providing training and education in various fields, SANZAF equips people with the tools needed to secure sustainable livelihoods, breaking the cycle of poverty and contributing to overall community development.
SANZAF East London contributes to this through providing Sewing Classes to those in need. The program is specifically designed to empower the illiterate within the community with the purpose to restore their dignity and self worth as this enables them to work towards self-sustainability.
