Expanding SANZAF’s Footprint

Over the past year, SANZAF has expanded and upgraded its infrastructure to improve access, service delivery and dignity for beneficiaries across South Africa.

A new office in Gqeberha’s Parkside area now serves as a vital link between donors and the community. In Johannesburg, a donor-sponsored facility has enabled the launch of a combined operations and development centre to support long-term empowerment.

SANZAF’s Durban office was also renovated to better accommodate beneficiaries and enhance development services.

These improvements, along with vehicle donations like the Hyundai Staria, have strengthened our mobility and outreach capabilities. Crucially, such developments are made possible through non-Zakah funding, which allows us to invest in sustainable solutions that uplift communities beyond immediate relief.

Non-Zakah Contributions

While Zakah addresses immediate needs, Non-Zakah donations are what allow SANZAF to grow, innovate and expand our development work. These funds help us establish offices, renovate centres, acquire vehicles and build facilities that empower communities across South Africa. Your general contributions make long-term transformation possible, helping not just with relief, but with restoration and dignity.

New SANZAF Offices

SANZAF is proud to announce the opening of two key offices aimed at enhancing our service delivery and development efforts. In Gqeberha, our new office in the Al-Ansar Building, Parkside, is strategically located to better serve both beneficiaries and donors in one of the region’s most active Muslim communities. Meanwhile, in Johannesburg, we’ve established a fully functional office and development centre, generously sponsored by a donor. This space not only improves operational efficiency but also enables us to deliver impactful development programmes. Both centres reflect SANZAF’s continued commitment to empowering communities and fostering self-reliance through accessible, dignified and compassionate support.

Office Renovations and Upgrades

SANZAF has undertaken key infrastructure improvements to enhance the dignity and experience of those we serve. Our Durban office has been renovated to expand its development centre and create a more welcoming space for beneficiaries. The upgrade supports more effective service delivery while safeguarding the dignity of each individual who walks through our doors. In addition, our offices in Pietermaritzburg, the Western Cape and East London have been freshly painted inside and out, improving both functionality and aesthetic appeal. These enhancements reflect SANZAF’s commitment to professionalism, care, and community upliftment, ensuring our spaces are as warm and inviting as the support we offer.

Car Handover – Hyundai Donation

SANZAF expresses its deep gratitude to Hyundai South Africa for the generous donation of a Hyundai Staria vehicle. This contribution enhances our capacity to serve communities, deliver aid and transport individuals to important development programmes. A similar initiative took place in Gqeberha, increasing our reach and ability to respond where help is needed most.
