Chef School - The SANZAF Chef Course, a cornerstone within our skills development programs, has been in operation since 2010.
The culinary arts are a highly sought-after skill in the country's employment sector. Recognizing the transformative potential of this opportunity, SANZAF acknowledges its role
in facilitating positive changes in the lives of individuals aspiring to enhance themselves.
The SANZAF Chef School received accreditation for their qualification, as well as cook, kitchen hand, and food handler courses from the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). This significant milestone empowers us to offer comprehensive training and certification to our students while also assisting them in finding employment.
Water Well:
Constructing water wells is crucial for providing communities in Southern Africa with sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water, addressing a fundamental human need and promoting public health. These projects not only prevent waterborne diseases but also empower communities by alleviating the burden of fetching water, particularly on women and children, enabling them to invest time in education and economic activities.
For a number of years, SANZAF has been actively involved in the construction of over 80 water wells, specifically in villages
in Malawi. These areas are home to thousands of individuals who grapple with the challenge of not having access to a safe and clean water source. This essential assistance to people living in poverty, ensuring they gain access to the vital resource of clean water.
Food Security:
SANZAF has consistently dedicated itself to combating food insecurity through a variety of interconnected programs designed to improve and empower communities across South Africa. Among these endeavours is the commitment to addressing the essential requirement for nutrition and alleviating hunger among the most disadvantaged.
Through SANZAF Durban operations, a diverse range of fresh meals is meticulously prepared and served daily benefitting thousands of recipients in need every month of the year.
