Craft Centre Sewing rooms
Affiliated to SANZAF's Craft Centre is the sewing project, which combines social entrepreneurship with sustainable practices. This projects focuses on repurposing donated offcuts and fabrics to craft eco-friendly products like fabric shopping bags, chair covers, aprons and various other practical items for household use.
This approach not only cultivates a culture of resourcefulness and sustainability but also addresses barriers to traditional employment by offering training and skills development opportunities to beneficiaries that would otherwise be dependent on welfare and charity handouts.
