Zakat in action - SANZAF enters the blogosphere

ZAKAT is said to be the most neglected of Islam’s five pillars. Described as a purification of wealth, it is essential to the welfare and heartbeat of the community. With this in mind, SANZAF now introduces its dedicated blog at

Editing and driving the new SANZAF blog platform will be award-winning journalist, photographer, radio and TV presenter and author, Shafiq Morton, who writes for publications such as Muslim Views, Al-Qalam and the Independent Group. He also runs his own blog and edits his own news website.

Via the new blog, SANZAF will be exposing you to events, issues and pertinent platforms surrounding the world of Zakah. We look forward to seeing you there as you witness Zakat in action.
