Poverty alleviation involves the provision of basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter to those who have no means of fulfilling these needs. This is a core function of SANZAF, but is an integral part of SANZAF’s skills development and educational assistance programme. It also extends to helping restore a poor person’s faith in Allah. The programme is also designed to restore the dignity of the poor.
